New Student Orientation and Parent Programs
Welcome new students and parents to Northern Kentucky University. New student orientation is a requirement for all new first time students. We also offer an optional transfer orientation for transfer students who would like more information about the university and resources. Registration information for fall 2010 will be available in April. Transfer and non-traditional students will begin to receive their orientation registration forms in the mail in mid-May.
Students cannot sign-up for their orientation on-line. Students will
be assigned an orientation date based on their major and based on when they paid their enrollment confirmation fee.
New students
will receive their orientation date assignment and paper registration
form in the mail beginning the week of April 26th if they have already
paid their enrollment confirmation fee. Students will not receive
their orientation date assignment until after they have paid their
enrollment confirmation fee of $75.
New Student Orientation and Parent Programs is dedicated to making your first year and the years beyond a success. We invite you to learn more about us and the Northern Kentucky University community.
Through our website you will be able to find information about the orientation program, parent programming opportunities, student leadership & involvement opportunities and answers to many of your questions. If you are unable to find the answers to your questions here, feel free to call us at (859) 572-1967.
During the summer of 2009, more than 2,100 freshmen attended Northern Exposure: New Student Orientation.
